First evening ride in a long time. But felt so good, so fresh even though it was in the 90s today. Felt cooool being out there on the bike from the very start, around 6 pm.
Covina to San Dimas and back. 3 lights made for good sight when it got dark. Even then it felt so good I wanted to keep going and never turn back. I've really missed that feeling.
Good lighting with 3 headlights ha ha ha.
Another 25 today. That Dam Ride. Solo ride to Santa Fe Dam from Pico Rivera. Just hopped on the trail and 94 degrees already. 93 minimum and 100 degrees max. Good thing was not many people out there. 😄
Did see Eyemage at the start. Didn't recognize him as he's all covered up but I nodded anyway. Kind of guy I am then I heard Mr. Beanz!!! Oh, that's Milton. 😆

Solo 52 miles today. We'll Solo most of it. I was 38 miles into my ride when I noticed a club approaching from behind. I kept my pace figuring they should catch up there are about 15 of them.
Few miles later, they catch up. Ok, I did raise my pace a bit knowing it was windy. So they catch up and they take my wheel. I expected them to pass so I move to the right but only 1 guy passes. I look back and only 4 of the crowd are there. The first guy passes after being on my wheel for about 1/4 mile. The others try to pass but having a hard time. The head guy pulls away dropping his 3 buds.
I see they are struggling so I went from the back around the 3 to fill the gap as the leader pulls away.
I let them hang on for a bit so they can recover. They seem to be ok after a bit so I gently lifted the pace pulling them back to the leader. I think they were happy.
So we were together for about another half mile then they turned off with a wave.
The Freshly Washed Gloves Tour. That lasted about 20 minutes. 😄
Did see Alyce as well as Ron and Dixie roll by.
Solo 41. If I Hadn't Been Alone Tour. I would have went to the top of the steep road I added today. Los Lomas. Somebody had pointed it out before as a real steep road, so why not today?😄 went up but near the top, gps reading 12.4%. Last 30 yards, I'm almost there, ok, why?🤣 Wasn't feeling bad, just got lazy and knowing the wind was blowing on the way back, I asked myself, why not fight another day. I was that close, 30 yards. If I Hadn't Been Alone. 😄 Not my usual fuel food today. Sausage Mcmuffin. Hey I got lazy this morning.
At work thinking about riding rather than working. 😄
Wow, you know there are assholes everywhere. On Facebook, cycling group, I posted a selfie pic on the bike. Kind of a thing right now where members are doing in in response to another poster. Kind of a fun thing to poke fun.
Another poster didn't like that I did it so he posted some obnoxious rude comments about my post.
I replied, actually kindly for Mr.Beanz. He posted a foul response then deleted it quickly but I still have the alert with his comment. I reported him anyway so I hope he gets put in Facebook jail for a while.
But like so many forums, everyone is brave behind the screen. Tough guy making threatening comments. Yeah, everybody on the net can kick my ass.
But you tell me you think this wimpy ass mother f#@ker would be a match for me? 😆😄😆
Solo 20 miles. Relaxing for work tomorrow. Not many riders out today, it seemed. A quick ride then lunch with Gina and her Mom
Then an ice cream at the mall. 😄
Still digging this Bryton GPS. So fast, so easy. Likev30 seconds and my ride is connected to the app steava and Relive. Love it! And the $10 hb mount.

The "My Sweet As Pie Mother in law " Tour. Gina volunteered for overtime 5 am this morning. She usually cooks my eggs. Not there so Cecee volunteered to go out for a breakfast sandwich. I said I'd cook my own, be easier. Then she said to leave the dirty pans and dishes, she'd take care of them. 😲
I couldn't do that but very sweet of her so I named this Tour after her. 😄
Solo 46 @16.0 average speed. Saw Tony and a bud. Saw Alyce too. I think that's it. 🤔 Breezy but not killer wind like last week.
