30 windy miles. 💨 Pico to Encanto Park. Wore my Bones jersey hoping the wind would go right through me, didn't help. 🤣 Tried going easy but turning around into MORE wind, figured I'd increase the effort hoping for a workout. That worked, my HR was up. 😁
Did run into a dude, Terry at the end of the ride. Saw his nice Pinarello so I started asking questions. Turned out to be a pretty experienced rider so we had some good conversation. Chatted for a bit then he headed off, back to the coast from Pico. Cool dude and looking good for being a mature dude, a little more mature than me ha ha ha!
Just after the nature center on the return, I decided to take a couple pics. Employees driving by prolly thought I was a nut standing out there in the middle of nowhere.
