Easy Sunday

Just a nice, trying to go easy day today. Warm but the wind seemed more of a factor, when isn't it on this trail. Going up but always windy going down nullifying the reward of going up. But another 24 miles at an easy pace trying to keep it down. 

Didn't feel like going and hard to get out of bed today,, but Gina had a visit with her family from New Mexico, here for a few days staying in Orange County. I don't mind riding my bike there on the trail but actually get in a car and fight the freeway looking for a place to eat along the coast in Summer?  I'll let them do that ha ha ha!

They arrived yesterday on the train in Fullerton. About 30 minutes from here and about 6 hours behind schedule. We had planned to see them yesterday but they had to meet their arrangements etc so ran late. Gina and I went to eat but Cecee called saying they would be there in 20. Gina and Cecee figured we'd see them on Sunday. But they needed a way to get their rent a car thinking about an Uber but I told Gina we'd drive up there to give them a lift. A small SUV and wanting us all to go the the coast for breakfast  on Saturday, I told them to spend time with their family and I'd go riding instead. Sacrifice so that we didn't have to take 2 cars hoping to stay together. SO that's what I did!
