Solo 43 SGRT Heat Acclimation Training

 Wind storm at the coast. HR at 150 doing 10 MPH. I lost a whole 1 mph on my average in the last 4 miles. 🤣 Started late, looked cool but ended up with 98 degrees on my device at the end of the ride. Have had a stye in my eye since Wednesday but this morning it was very irritated so that didn't help. 🤪 I rarely pour water over my head at the end, I needed it. 

Started cool then ended up pretty hot. Extreme heat warning today. 98 of a high that I saw but felt hotter. Did run into Sandra on the trail. She was riding with a group doing her birthday ride. I stopped to chat real quick then after leaving, didn't realize I had dropped the case to my gopro. Went about a mile then felt my pocket was empty, darn it! About a mile later but I decided to ride back looking for it. Got it. saved about $10.

About 5 miles from the end, some dude handed me a cold water bottle. Thanks! I downed it real quick on the roll then crunched up the bottle about to find a place for it in my jersey. I hate to be a litter bug on the trail while appreciating the maintenance they do to keep it up. But saw the van coming up from behind me so I pulled over and asked them if they want the bottle to recycle. They took it so I gave him a little shout out on video. Solo 43 on SGRT . Cool at the start but warmed up a little too nicely. 🤣😂🤣

I don't usually pour a bottle of water over my head but it was so hot after the ride............

These buds are cool.  Charge still around 90% after 20 miles vs the 30% of my Samsung galaxy buds. 2 pair Samsung and they both suck ha ha ha.

The stye in my eye sucks. 👁 people telling me to use a tea bag.  Seems it irritated it more than helped over night.  But rode anyway.  Dinner after the ride with Gina and it was really bothering me.  To the mall after to chill out but bugging me so much,  went home to soak it with hot water like I did last time about 7 years ago when I had one. Worked fine vs the tea bag suggested and another person suggested a jalapeño ha ha ha.  Good thing I didn't try that one, I'd probably be blind right now.  🤣😂😂

Ran into a wedding. I'm guessing the groom was asking himself, :why didn't I go for this one?!" ha ha ha!
