Only 3,641 Miles for the Year

Yup, but not bad for working half the year after getting laid off. Then having received my SSI Retirement qualification letter slightly before the lay off, I put in for my retirement.  Thank God because the work place and ethics in this country aren't what they used to be.  Seen enough so I'm lucky to get out now while I'm still alive.  😄

So just a New Year's Eve lunch with my Honey.  Something different and close to home, not because it's at all good anymore,  just different from our usual.

But off to a good start. Walking through the mall after, a lady stopped us then she told Gina, "your husband has a beautiful heart and he's a good person." 😊

Well, the other day when I got my tacos, I walked by then she saw them making a comment. She works at a little peanut stand passing out free samples so I know she doesn't make much so I went back and bought her a couple tacos. She was shocked but at the same time, looking so grateful. She mentioned something about not being able to have had a chance to eat that day then said she was going to eat them RIGHT NOW. 😋

So starting off the new year welcoming with a good note. 👍 And it is always nice to find people that appreciate kindness rather than trying to take advantage of it. And yes, I did tell her that Gina is the much sweeter person in our 38 years together. ❤️
