Solo SGRT Saturday

 Solo 34 from Pico to the base of the Azusa mountains. Cool dark and chilly but decided to go without the windbreaker and tights. Mostly because dealing with the GoPro in my rear jersey pocket is rough with a windbreaker on ha ha ha!

Ran into a dude named Jorge just as I was finishing my ride. He had a flat and asked if I had a spare tube. I did but offered him a patch and he said ok. Then let him use my pump to find the leak but he had a hard time finding it. So I helped him out then he asked if I was the guy making the videos of Chalan rest stop and Omar. Yup that's me so just because he knew who I was, I offered a tube. But then he realized my stems at 48 mm were too short for his deep carbon rims. Bummer! But we tried.

So I finished up my ride and was happy with it. Felt great!

Did eat pasta on Friday with Gina so today ride was powered by Avolio's Canneloni and salad. Funny, I posted a food pic on my strava then a strava friend left a comment on my ride saying he was actually there eating at Avolio's when I posted my ride ha ha ha!

Then Millie's after the ride, in Covina. Food is OK but a little something different once in a while. I had flat bread tacos and Gina a Philly Cheese steak that was actually Steak-ums ha ha ha! The little cherry individual pie was good though. I asked Gina if she wanted one, nope. Share, go halves, nope, she just wanted a bite. As I was finishing up my meal, she took a bite alright. Almost half the pie. Glad she didn't want one or to share.
