Laughlin Road Trip & Sizzler VIP Status

Took Ceecee and Gina to Laughlin for the weekend, Friday thru Sunday morning.

The Laughlin Weekend video. Another good weekend but sadly, for one family on the I-40, 4 killed in an accident. Caught some of the aftermath on the way home. On the return, did catch a few little sprinkles so didn't worry about it thinking it cleared up by Barstow. But then Gina drove from there and it started pouring hard. Low visibility, thunder, lightening, crowded freeway doing about 40 MPH. But Gina did very well keeping it safe. There did seem to be some great food deals in Laughlin this weekend. 😄

When you know you hit SIZZLER VIP STATUS.  After reaching home, Gina and I stopped at Sizzler.  It was packed,  maybe 30 people ahead of us in line so I even thought about going somewhere else but Our Girl Angelina hooked us up. Just as I was thinking about leaving, she poked her head out through the back door, the exit door from the dining room but no to the outside. Psst, Beanz and Gina, this way!

She sat us down at a reserved table then asked Gina for her card and took it up to the register and ordered for us, Heck Yeah!!! Gina tried the new Shrinp Scampi and I the usual 6 ounce petite steak trying to get back onto a healthy diet after the weekend in Laughlin, junk food ha ha ha! Gina and her usual, " I don't think I can eat because I'm still full and I don't feel like eating."

Of course, once she tasted it, she wiped it out ha ha ha! I tasted the shrimp, it was as good as Angelina had mentioned about a month ago alerting us that the dish was returning to the menu and suggested we try it.

Some Laughlin pics, story later.

I do not in anyway, condone, encourage, or participate in the use of miracle drugs. I do have an inlaw relative that is suffering from some serious cancer issues. Several years of suffering and just found it, he may have another bout heading his way. He's into the stuff and so I picked up this watch at the Barstow Station on the way back from Laughlin. Kind of gawdy and outrageous but I thought it was funny that he might really like it. I doubt he'll wear it but it is a funny conversation piece for someone who enjoys this type of thing and knowing he might appreciate the thought. Yeah, spoke with him and he was quite happy that someone thought of him having faced some pretty serious difficult times medically and personally. Life is tough for an ill person so hope I could lighten up his day, if anything just for a minute.
